If you want something REAL special to do some night, walk the tracks from Atsion to Tuckahoe Turf Farm. Be careful of the light coming at you from down the trackls, and of the severed manaquine arms and hands back there. How they got there? ]]> Comment on The Story by Steve http://theatcoghost.com/the-story/comment-page-1/#comment-579 Steve Fri, 27 May 2011 19:11:40 +0000 http://atcoghost.com/the-story#comment-579 My friend and I went out there to see what we could find, we did all the things that we were told, the lights and horn, but we saw nothing of a boy chasing a ball into the street. the weather was overcast and it was rather windy at the time, but as I sat there in the front passenger seat I thought I saw what looked like a teen sized being wearing what appeared to be a hooded sweatshirt, with hood up, and he was pointing his right arm, it looked like a shadow figure, and all the hairs on my right arm and leg went up and I felt a strange energy on my whole right side, from my head to my foot, it was very strange, I shrugged it off then my friend asked if I had seen anything and I said that I wasn't sure, and he said then you did see it, that confirmed that I had indeed seen somthing, then he told me what Ihe had seen and said I'm glad you saw it too, I thought I was just seeing things. This is a true story, it happened about 2 years ago now, I was 47 at the time and my friend was 21, we worked together when he told me about the ghost and I asked him to show me, do I believe the story about the boy and the ball, I didn't see that, but we did see a shadow figure, do I believe that there are energies of beings that have passed, yes. The question is do you fear what you don't understand, for me no I just try to learn from it. Peace be with you. I have lived in S jersey, right in the pines, my entire life. There is no jersey devil, though I can't say for sure that there is no other spirit or ghost in those forests. (Near where it turns to dirt) Although we knew about the ghost story, we never saw it but we did hear bizarre sounds that we attributed to the Jersey Devil. A dozen times we went "Devil Hunting" back there and heard it often. We wanted to catch it, but were never successful. ]]> Comment on Who ever started this story. by Chris http://theatcoghost.com/2008/02/hello-world-2/comment-page-1/#comment-21 Chris Mon, 07 Dec 2009 05:18:15 +0000 http://atcoghost.com//?p=1#comment-21 okay, so we went to see this thing twice. once on thursday night, and now again on sunday night. here's what happened both nights: on thursday night, we were driving there and on the white horse pike, this guy fakept flashing us with his high beams until he finally turned off. we get to burnt mill road and turn on to the paved road.. ahead is the pine barrens, the dirt path, and its covered with huge puddles. so, our drivers thought we had to go in, in order to see the ghost . as were contemplating going in, the same guy that flashed us comes out of nowehre behind us (he had his lights off) and flys into the pine barrens. we follow him, but because fearing our engine would be flooded, backed out, hitting a tree in the process. so, the guy infront of us, seeing we didn't go in, starts backing up! so we floor it to the beginning of burnt mill road to contemplate going back or not.. as the two cars are sitting there, the guy comes back again! (lights still off) when asked what he was doing he said "oh, just playing in the mud" he said he didn't believe in the ghost.. and then he said "they're might be a bonfire tonight, come back into the woods." being creeped out, we left after he turned around, lights off. so we drive to this shopping center, because we really wanted to go back. okay, so we went to see this thing twice. once on thursday night, and now again on sunday night.
